The 2010 Winter Olympics took place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Mietwagen buchen. This was the 21^st place this international sports event happened. Also, Canada managed to break the record for the highest number of gold medals previously held by Soviet Union in 1976 and then repeated by Norway in 2002.

The Winter Olympics in Vancouver were held under unprecedented security measures. It was estimated that more than 200 million dollars were spent through the special authority of Integrated Security Unit. Other forces such as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Vancouver Police, Canadian Security Intelligence Service, the Canadian Forces and the Canadian Border Services Agencies took part in making the event safe. The total bill for the whole game has been estimated up to 6 billion American dollars from which 600 million are directly connected to the hosting of the games.
